How do I go about getting a cleaning service?

Please give us a call! We are ready to provide you with quality cleaning and professional cleaners.

Will you be at my house all day?

We work in teams, with one of the cleaners being a Team Leader. This allows us to clean and inspect the cleaning in one visit. We are able to do quality cleaning in a short amount of time, thus inconveniencing you as little as possible.

How do you price the cost of my cleaning?

Several factors enter into pricing, such as the size and condition of your home, where you are located, and how often you would like to have your home cleaned. Our preference is to come to your home to do a free estimate. This allows us to talk with you and find out your expectations.

Will I need to supply anything?

Gingham Girls Cleaning Service brings all their supplies and equipment. We prefer to use our own supplies because of the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), which are required for each product we use. These sheets give our employees the necessary safety information required for the use of each product. However, if you prefer that we use your vacuum, or central vac system we are more than happy to do so.

We also offer Green Cleaning products, which are used whenever it is feasible. We believe in keeping the environment as healthy as possible. Sometimes we are unable to get an area clean with only the green clean products, thus making it necessary to use a more toxic product. However, if you request only green clean products be used in your home, we will be happy to comply with that request.

How do I pay for the cleaning?

Payment is expected upon completion of the cleaning. A check or cash may be left for the cleaners to pick up while they are at your home. MasterCard or Visa credit cards may be used, with arrangements being made ahead of time through the Office.

Must I be home while you are there cleaning?

It is entirely up to you if you prefer to be home. Most of our customers provide us access to their home while they are at work or out doing errands. Some let us in before they leave and others provide us with a key, garage door opener, or a code. All keys in our possession are marked with a number only, so the home address, etc., is not physically associated with the key unless the homeowner attaches it.

What if I forget the cleaners are scheduled and they are not able to get in?

We do assess a lockout fee if the cleaners are scheduled and find they are unable to get into the home. This fee is upwards of $25.00, depending on location of the home, size of the team, and if the team is able to continue to the next home on their list.

What does it mean to me for my cleaners to be insured and bonded?

Gingham Girls Cleaning Service is fully insured and bonded, which means we are covered in case of injuries or damages while at your home. This is an area which is often overlooked when a homeowner decides to employ someone who is working independently, as you may not be aware of your personal liability for work related injuries and taxes, such as social security.

What if something gets damaged in my home?

Our cleaners are instructed to treat our customer’s belongings with care and respect, however, accidents do happen. If this should occur while we are in your home the cleaners will leave a note, and we ask that you contact the office as soon as possible regarding replacement or refund.

Does Gingham Girls Cleaning Service help out in the community?

Yes, we do. Cleaning for a Reason is a passionate part of our organization. We provide free cleaning for women who are battling with cancer. (Please call 1-877-337-3348 if you would like more information.) Also, we provide reduced cleaning rates for citizens who have found it necessary to obtain state help due to physical disabilities.
